Community News: 18.57 November 18th 2008 | Teaming Up For a Bright Future

Non League Football Live has continued with it's pro-active quest in pushing Non League football forward by teaming up with some close friends who will soon be helping clubs all over the country make money.
We have teamed up with a special venture aimed at making money for Non League football clubs. The people themselves have invested in Non League Football Live to ensure a bright future for ourselves whilst we continue to promote Non League football on a world stage.
We have no involvement in the running or finances of the people running this excellent new idea however. The idea is based on a football pools game which is going to be launched on a national level. It will involve anyone wanting to play - pay £2 to predict results of 6 Premier League games with profits plugging into Non League football.
Out of the £2 we have been told 50% will go into the Jackpot for the people who get the selections right. 25% will go to Non League football clubs involved in the venture only and 25% will go to the running costs which is a significant amount due to gambling fees, bank fees, onlines trading fees etc.
The project has to far been worked on for nearly 2 years with lots of research and professional input. It is a fully fledged business with an office in Birmingham and they have also been granted the necessary gambling certificates which can be hard to be granted nowadays.
All it involves for clubs to put a banner somewhere on their site so users can play the new pools game. We will be looking into special club codes for adverts in programmes etc at a later stage. Once users see this appealing game they click through which will be logged and saved for each club website and if they decide to play then clubs make 25% of the £2 = 50p per player.
Club websites receive a lot of users and if promoted well within their websites there could be a handsome profit to be made. The project is geared towards making money for non league clubs. At a time where clubs are struggling with finances and the credit crunch we are delighted to be able to be partners with such an exciting opportunity. Our values are to promote Non League football and to now have a way of making money for Non League clubs is excellent.
We are currently working with our closest clubs with the view to extend the idea within our feature leagues whilst our partners concentrate within Grass Roots football. If you would like more details please contact Patrick Dickinson on 07969392950.

Community News: 18.53 November 4th 2008 | Falmouth Town Update

A quick update on Falmouth Town, the first club to be part of our community project. Falmouth Town are currently in 16th place playing in the South West Peninsula League.
Although results haven't gone their way this season they do have games in hand over most teams and an added bonus of good cup runs in both the Throgmorton Cup and the Cornwall Senior Cup has kept their season alive.
At the start of the season Falmouth Town won our competition for a club to have their programme designed, produced and paid for during the 2008/2009 season.
Special thanks goes to Peter Arnett who produces the programme. Peter also produces the Harrogate Town programme and his personal website can be found here: http://www.footballprogrammedesign.moonfruit.com/

Community News: 09:00 June 29th 2008 | Doing Our Bit!

Falmouth Town have kicked of their season with a shiny new programme designed and paid for by Non League Football Live.
We have now produced two issues with Falmouth Town keeping the proceeds. Programme Designer Peter Arnett has been instrumental in providing a top class programme.
"It's our little way of giving something to the community" said Editor Patrick Dickinson.
"We rely on clubs and fans to send in goal information which then benefits fans worldwide, no-one has to do it but we do it for the love of the game and that's why we decided to launch this innitiative"
"Unfortunately we are not a commerical organisation in the sense of a major organisation so there is no money to be throwing around, there is barely enough money to keep ourselves running but if it means a little project like this helps someone in the non league community then we can pride ourselves on our morals."
Meanwhile Falmouth Town have had mixed fortunes on the pitch after a slow start in the League, the South West Peninsula outfit have earnt a plum tie against local rivals Truro City in the FA Cup after victory over Shaftesbury.

Community News: 09.45 July 31st 2008 | New Programme On The Way

Here is the first glance at the new Falmouth Town programme being designed and printed with Non League Football Live covering the costs as part of our community scheme.
We do have a little secret though, we have one of the best programme designers in the business, Peter Arnett who designs the Harrogate Town programme packed with over 40 pages.
Peter our kung-fu expert has been applying the finishing touches to a nice little programme that not only helps Falmouth Town but also represent our values into providing the non league community with our input.
Unfortunately for Falmouth Town fans there won't be a 40 page programme on the way but there will be a programme value for money with manager and chairman comments as well as opposition info, team line-ups, league tables and news. Stay tuned for more info.

Community News: 13,45 May 26th 2008 | Falmouth Town Named As First Community Project Launches

We are delighted to confirm our partnership with Falmouth Town AFC as part of our Non League community project.
Non League Football Live would like to support Non League football in everyway possible and we see this as our next step into helping the Non League community.
We first brought the very first Non League Vidiprinter in October 2007 which then followed our extensive news service covering all of our six feature leagues.
In May 2008 we launched a competition for one club to have their matchday programme professionally produced free of charge by our team for the whole 2008/2009 season.
After careful consideration over a number of entries including some top Ryman Premier clubs we thought it would be a great idea by supporting a Step 6 club.
We will keep you updated during the season with our progress and photos. We will also be following Falmouth Town with keen interest. Extra programmes will be published should any of the public want to obtain a copy.
